William Doescher
William Doescher (doeschergroup@earthlink.com) is the President and CEO of the Doescher Group, a communications plus consulting firm specializing in executive searches, marketing, corporate communications, and public relations.
Bill was formerly the senior vice president and chief communications officer for The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, the world’s leading provider of business credit, marketing, and purchasing information. He is an adjunct professor at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a member of the Advisory Board for the School and its Independent Study Master’s Degree Program. He also teaches at Columbia University.
For more than 10 years, he has been an advisor to the Communications Departments at Colgate and Syracuse.
Bill is chairman of the Development Committee and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Jackie Robinson Foundation, a member of the Board of Trustees and president of the Public Relations Society of America Foundation (PRSA) and president of the Scarsdale Historical Society. He is also a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and the Wisemen, an organization for leading public relations executives, and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
