Dr. Peter Harder

No Photo AvailableDr. Peter J. Harder (bookharder@msn.com) retired in June, 2002 as Vice President of Education for Junior Achievement National Headquarters and Service Center. He was responsible for the research, development, and evaluation of new curricula and programs while regularly updating and improving existing programs. Pete began his career with Junior Achievement in 1981 as an educational consultant with the National office. He held numerous leadership positions at National until 1991 when he became President of Junior Achievement of North Central Connecticut, Hartford, CT. Pete returned to the National office in 1997 when he was named Senior Vice President of Education.

Pete is a former teacher, university lecturer, and education consultant. He earned his doctorate from the University of Connecticut. He lives in Colorado and Connecticut and maintains a consulting business.  [4-Year term starting 2004]
