Dr. Tanny Harper
Tanny S. Harper, Ed.D. (tanny.harper@arkansas.gov) is a long-time public servant active in education and enhancing Arkansas' workforce. Currently, he is the Program Manger for School Improvement in that state's Department of Workforce Education.
Tanny's experience ranges from eight years of retail business to various Coordinator positions for the State of Arkansas, such as High Schools That Work, Tech Prep Associate Degree, Career Academy, School-to-Work, and Equity. His extensive background includes conducting extensive in-service training and supervising secondary career exploration, workplace readiness, and cooperative work education programs.
Dr. Harper holds both Doctor and Master degrees in Education from the University of Arkansas and a B.S. in Business Administration. His tenure with the State of Arkansas spans nearly 30 years. [2-Year term starting 2005]
